**Who We Are Looking For**:
We are looking for a caring and empathetic Support Worker to assist our clients with day-to-day tasks. As a Support Worker, you will be required to meet with clients and help them to live as independently as possible. You may also be required to train family and friends in relevant support techniques and to lead community meetings.

As a Support Worker, you should have great interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping others. Support Workers would be able to provide both emotional and physical support when needed to ensure that clients feel in control of their lives as well as be able to identify gaps in care and provide support in a productive manner.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and maximize their independence. Your tasks will include:

- Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assisting with medication management
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and feeding
- Providing transportation and accompanying clients to appointments or community activities
- Assisting with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
- Developing personalised strategies to efficiently provide care for the client
- Completing documentation and managing case logbook
- **No experience required as training will be provided**_

**Support Worker Requirements**:

- Tax File Number (TFN)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Valid Working With Children Card
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Valid Australian work rights
- Australian Driver's Licence, reliable car & comprehensive insurance
- Fluent in English at both writing & verbal communications
- Some sort of experience in Disability Home Care, Aged Care and/or Community Work is an advantage but not mandatory as training will be provided

**Casual Pay Rates $$$**:

- Payrates are currently ranging from $30 to $40 per hour
- Includes Weekends & Holiday penalty rates
- Payments are given on a weekly basis

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gold Coast, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Australian Drivers Licence (required)
- First Aid Certification & CPR (required)
