**About the role**:
As a Disability Support Worker, your role will be to support participants with various physical, intellectual and mental disability with daily activities including medication administration, meal preparation and management, mobility assistance, and domestic duties. In this position you will be required to perform all aspects of personal care for complex-needs clients, which may include; assistance with daily living needs, bowel care, catheter care, peg feeding and the use of equipment for manual handling transfers.
Encouraging the development of independence and social interaction with community and peers, you will play a key role in supporting the participants' growth to reach their potential. You will have the opportunity to work alongside various clients and families as they are introduced to The Disability Trust's services. We offer flexibility and promote work/life balance through a variety of shift times, ranging from 2-4 hours in duration available.
To be successful in the role of Disability Support Worker, you will be required to obtain a Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check and First Aid Certificate before commencement. You will also be required to have a current driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

The casual hourly rate for these positions is $38.08-$41.54 per hour (plus superannuation) depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we will provide you with:
