**Administration Officer**
Due to the increase in occupance we are seeking a full time Admin to support our team at St Ives. This role is ideal for a former educator who has worked in the industry who have an understanding of the regulations and and policies in Child Care.
Reporting to the Director you will be responsible and assist in a number of tasks some may be:
**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Provide accurate and timely information and customer service in a professional manner
- Assist the Service Director with the administration tasks including but not limited to electronic mail outs to families, liaising with Enrolment's Hub team regarding enrolments and transitioning children as required
- Reconciliation, data entry, reporting, and recording and maintaining enrolment records
- Provide administrative support to the service director and lead educators, manage relevant databases and maintain up to date records of children, families and staff files
- Efficiently provided support in; filing, updating records, ordering, archiving, answering phone calls, IT support, coordinating external meetings
- Maintain and ensure confidentiality at all times when exchanging information with families and staff
- Develop, maintain, review and evaluate administrative systems and procedures and suggest recommendations for improvements
- Assist with the production of service newsletters and attend management meetings as requested and take minutes
- Support and provide centre staff and kitchen staff with relevant documentation for weekly updates of children with allergies
**About You**
**To be successsful in this role you will have**:
- Previous expereince working in a similar role or expereince dealing with sensitive information
- High digital proficiency and comfortable using MS Suite and various databases
- Demonstrated administration, organisational and time management skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to establish priorities, manage workloads and identify when to reschedule and reorganise work to reflect changes in priority.
- Ability to relate effectively to children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Mature and established communication and inter-personal skills.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication skill
- A strong understanding of the Early Childhood sector is advantageous
**Qualifications**
- Working with children check
- NSW Drivers license
- Certificate III or Diploma in Childcare (preferred)

**Orchard Early Learning Centre St Ives** has an amazing outdoor play area, the centre is spread across two levels, with defined Nursery and Preschool levels, the bright and airy rooms flow directly onto the outdoor learning environments, immersing children in our Paddock to Plate philosophy.
The service operates from 6.30am - 6.30pm and is located on Mona Vale Road opposite Bridgedine College, close to public transport and local street parking available.
