Let’s talk about you

This position supports the management of buildings, grounds and internal facilities across Aussie Broadband’s Victorian call centres and office spaces. As our Facilities Manager, you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes:

- Provides hands on maintenance support to our two metro offies, by Identifying, coordinating and completing maintenance and repair works, engaging contractors as required.
- Supporting the negotiation of contracts for services (including security, cleaning, contractors etc).
- Ability to meet government regulations and standards in facilities management.
- Project managing building works and other office related projects.
- Assisting in administration and office management tasks to support the overall functioning of Aussie Facilities.
- Assisting the business in acquiring new office spaces and furnishing/relocating existing spaces.
- Keeping accurate records and documentation relating to facilities management activities.
- Playing your part in responding urgent out of hours facilities incidents.
- Understands and maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
- Performs effectively in an environment of change, pressure and fast paced.
- A ‘can do’ attitude to own work and the goals of the greater team.
- Astute and able to exercise sound judgement and discretion.

- Must be able to work proactively under pressure with multiple competing tasks.
- Proven ability working with hand tools and light power tools.
- Ability to lead and manage teams and projects.
- Exceptional personal organisation skills including time management and prioritising.
- Experience in a similar role within a multi-site environment.
- Aptitude for clear communication, consultation and consideration of others.
- Knowledge and understanding of building/OHS regulations and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Trade background a bonus.
