Hays legal have partnered with a renowned ASX listed financial institution with an incredibly supportive, friendly and flexible culture. They are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their team to deliver high quality, independently minded and commercially focused legal.
**Your new role**
In this role, you’ll successfully provide high quality paralegal support, liaise with clients and attend meetings, draft wills, powers of attorney, and file notes. You will also review legal documentation and providing general administrative support. In addition, you will:
- Liaise with clients to arrange initial meeting, draft standard wills, wills incorporating testamentary trusts, enduring powers of attorney, trust deeds, correspondence and related material, obtain peer review, confirm instructions, finalise documentation, arrange signing meeting, finalising file and archiving file organisations.
- Develop and maintain appropriate high level working relationships with financial advisers for referral of new matters
- Partner and collaborate across functions to deliver on key strategic initiatives
- Manage people processes, risk management frameworks, and assist with the management of FTE budgets.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1+ years of experience in a private practice or a corporate environment
- Wills and estates experience preferred
- General legal experience in property, commercial and/or related law
- Highly developed relationship management and communication skills, with a proven ability to strategically manage and engage with an extensive network of colleagues and senior stakeholders
