**Your new role**

As a Legal Support Officer, you will play a critical role in the Professional Conduct Branch which oversees work in relation to sensitive matters, which can involve allegations of child sexual abuse. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing incoming enquiries from applicants, teachers, and stakeholders
- Conducting preliminary enquiries on complaints and notifications
- Providing administrative support to lawyers and investigators
- Assisting with paralegal duties such as drafting legal correspondence and preparing documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and databases
- Contributing to the development of policies and procedures

**What you'll need to succeed**

To excel in this role, you should have:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation abilities
- Self-motivation and attention to detail
- Experience in providing administrative support in a legal or regulatory environment (preferred)
