Hays is currently partnered with a Federal Government organisation who are seeking multiple APS5 Project Officer's for their Geelong CBD office location. This is a 12 month, temporary full time assignment with the potential to extend.

**Your new role**

You will work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, providing policy advice based on policies and legislation and resolving complex enquiries. The APS5 Project Officer is responsible for:

- Developing high quality, evidence based operational policy and advice, planning resources including Operational Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, practice guides, letters, forms and tips.
- Providing service delivery expertise, technical system advice and procedural guidance around high level Scheme strategy, practice implementation and operational matters.
- Collaborating with the team to achieve project and business outcomes.
- Monitoring and reviewing project activities against plans.
- Implementing project activities that focus on improving frontline support.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed, you will need:

- Previous experience in a similar role, or role within policy highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Relevant qualifications/education highly desirable
- IT proficiency including MS Office, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to analyse information with a high attention to detail
