I am currently partnered with a Federal Government Agency who is seeking an APS5 Property Officer, for their Geelong CBD office on a full-time, temporary 12 month assignment with the potential to extend.

**Your new role**

As the APS5 Property Officer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of office locations and will undertake activities and tasks to provide support on a range of property matters. Responsibilities will include:

- Engaging and monitoring third party facilities providers for all preventative maintenance schedules and property repairs for their portfolio of locations.
- Responding to property related enquiries and issues from staff members.
- Assisting with branch seating allocation activities.
- Monitoring levels of stationery and consumables within a portfolio of locations and ensuring sufficient stocks are ordered and delivered to sites.
- Developing and maintaining carpark ballots.
- Working collaboratively with other enabling services to ensure positive outcomes for staff.
- Assisting and supporting the Fleet team by acting as a Vehicle Control Officer where applicable.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS5 Property Officer, you will need:

- Facilities management experience
- IT proficiency in MS Office
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing demands
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
- Leadership skills or experience is desired, not essential
- Australian Citizenship
