Experienced Migration Agent Assistant/ Visa Case Manager

We are a small boutique firm based in Sydney CBD specializing in immigration law. We are currently looking for a migration administrative assistant or paralegal to work in our Sydney office.

Position description
- Assist a registered migration agent with client in answering written and phone queries regarding migration laws
- Collecting documents and organizing files
- Drafting and reviewing submissions and correspondence
- Conducting legal research using available sources when required
- Meeting clients to discuss assigned cases and projects
- Liaising with external organizations such as skill assessing authorities when required
- Other general administrative and support tasks as required

Experience and skills:

- A minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
- Passion and keen interest in immigration law (preferably, studying a Migration law course)
- A high work ethic, are proactive, results and deadline driven
- Great communication and people skills
- High attention to detail and high accuracy
- Good level of English (IELTS 7.5)
- Speaking a second language (Fillipino, Nepalese, Mongolian or Chinese)

Job type: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
