Experienced Migration Agent Assistant/ Visa Case Manager

We are a small boutique firm based in Sydney CBD specializing in immigration law. We are currently looking for a migration administrative assistant or paralegal to work in our Sydney office.
Position description
o Assist a registered migration agent with client in answering written and phone queries regarding migration laws
o Collecting documents and organizing files
o Drafting and reviewing submissions and correspondence
o Preparing and checking Skills Assessment, Sponsorship, Nomination and Visa applications
o Conducting legal research using available sources when required
o Meeting clients to discuss assigned cases and projects
o Liaising with external organizations such as skill assessing authorities when required
o Other general administrative and support tasks as required
Experience and skills:
o A minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
o Passion and keen interest in immigration law (preferably, studying a Migration law course)
o A high work ethic, are proactive, results and deadline driven
o Great communication and people skills
o High attention to detail and high accuracy
o Good level of English (IELTS 7.5)
o Speaking a second language (Fillipino, Nepalese, Mongolian or Chinese)

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
