Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled leader who will oversee RSL LifeCare's Major Capital Works team to ensure best practices are applied to our property portfolio. The General Manager, Capital Works will manage the planning, design, and execution of innovative and forward-thinking precincts, major capital works, and property upgrades.

You will work closely with the Chief Property Officer to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that will be effectively integrated throughout the Property team. You will be committed to keeping RSL LifeCare at the forefront of capital works planning, design, and delivery, while positioning the RSL LifeCare as a leader in the industry.

We need you to have:
- Qualifications and experience in project management, building, architecture, or related fields.- Experience in integrated precinct/place-making design and delivery, including master planning.- Ability to manage a team responsible for developing briefs, designing, and delivering complex capital works projects and minor capital works programs.- Proven leadership skills and ability to transform a team in a complex and dynamic environment.- Experience in ECI process, tender procurement processes, and contract administration.- Ability to deliver innovative business cases and plans within strict timelines and budgets.- Skilled in managing design and implementation for the interface of new and existing infrastructure on live sites.- Capability to resolve complex problems collaboratively with initiative, analysis, evaluation, and creativity.- Knowledge of legislative requirements related to project planning and development.
