- Ventia are engaged for the design, construction, financing, and facility management of the Royal North Hospital located in St Leonards. We’re hiring a full-time permanent **General Hand**to assist in general maintenance duties in the hospital.

**About the role**:

- Relocate and dispose of hospital furnishings including chairs, tables, bed and various equipment.
- Safely operate machinery and tools and assist in non-mechanical maintenance as required.
- Complete tasks within assigned time and budgetary constraints, escalating matters that will compromise these constraints at the earliest opportunity.
- Other reasonable activities as required for the role including some cleaning tasks.

**About You**:

- No previous experience required, however experience as a previous labourer, removalist or trade assistant is desirable.
- Must be physically fit and able to conduct a variety of manual handling tasks and lift heavy and bulky objects.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and work well in a team environment.Be willing to undergo a national police check, medical and reference checks.**About Ventia**
