**Persian Basement **is Australia’s longest running family-owned Persian restaurant for 21 years. We are North Shore's most established and Loved Persian restaurant in the Heart of Lane Cove.

We offer Traditional dishes in a light-filled dining room, with belly dancers and banquets on weekends.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic **Event Manager** to join our team on a full-time basis. As the Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing events within our business, ensuring that they are memorable and exceed our customers' expectations.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements, and provide recommendations for menu selections, table settings, and other event details.
- Develop event proposals and presentations, including detailed event plans and cost estimates.
- Manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that events are executed within budget.
- Manage all communications, promotional and branding aspects of events.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure that all event details are properly executed and that all attendees have a positive experience.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly set up and taken down.
- Manage event day operations, including supervising staff, managing any issues that arise, and ensuring that all attendees have a positive experience.
- Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for future improvements.

**Minimum Requirement**:

- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in event management, with a focus on restaurant and hospitality events.
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience managing event budgets and vendor contracts.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.

**Salary Offered**: $60,000 to $70,000 + Superannuation.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

- Lane Cove, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
