Baldwin Living operates a range of eight boutique independent living retirement villages on the east coast of Australia. Our villages are in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Geelong, and Hobart. We are known for our warmth, friendliness and over 30 years of experience.

Lane Cove Gardens is a city oasis for retirees looking for an independent living community with an array of lifestyle choices. Set among picturesque gardens and featuring scenic views of Chatswood Golf Course and Lane Cove National Park, the village has 83 retirement homes linked by walkways and flowered courtyards that provide easy access to the village community centre.

We are looking for a full-time Business & Sales Manager at the village to join our growing team.

About the position
- Be the leader of the village
- Develop and maintain relationships with village residents
- Develop and maintain relationships with key staff (village and head office)
- Develop a working knowledge of the NSW Retirement Act
- Manage the village operations team including administrative support, gardening, maintenance, and tradespersons
- Promote the village within the local community through an array of sales and marketing activities
- Host sales tours, open days, expos for prospective buyers
- Be rewarded for achievement of key sales targets
- Manage refurbishment program of vacant units with all internal and external parties
- Responsibility for resident welfare and upkeep of the village, including maintaining a calendar of social events
- Ensure that all village assets (buildings, grounds, and equipment) are maintained and presented to a high standard
- Oversee complete profit and loss responsibility for the village
- Ensure that village operating costs fall within maintenance fees collected from residents

About you:

- Minimum five years' experience in a sales, hospitality general management, or facilities management role
- Proven sales and marketing experience
- Excellent market research, evaluation, and reporting skills
- Financial management experience is essential
- A positive attitude, maturity, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a growth mindset
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Satisfactory Police check
