**Your new role**
- With limited direction, lead a team for bonded medical programs which aim to provide more doctors in regional, rural and remote areas that are experiencing doctor shortages.
- Provide guidance on program administration and ensure consistency of approach in line with legislation and policy.
- Manage workflows including provision of support for team members who are processing information requests and manage escalated and complex policy enquiries.
- Prepare and/or clear responses to Ministerial and other correspondence.
- Engage with stakeholders including doctors, students, government departments and other organisations.
- Maintain program data bases and tracking systems, including mailbox management.
- Collate and analyse data, including to assess workload volumes and reporting.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Team leadership skills including the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues to lead a team in an environment which is fast paced and dynamic.
- Flexibility and capacity to provide support to team members where required in an environment where there is a high workload and surge capacity is required.
- Effective time management skills including the ability to manage and prioritise workflows.
- Well-developed verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to use initiative and problem-solve.
- Ability to utilise a range of IT systems including program management systems and learn new systems.
