Hudson is assisting a Federal Government Agency department in sourcing suitable Policy Officers with highly developed written skills, demonstrated research skills and the ability to prioritise and work flexibly across a range of project, program and stakeholder engagement tasks.

Working in the health sector, you will ideally have experience and knowledge in undertaking policy reviews in the health sector. A background in pharmaceuticals, health economics, regulation, supply chain etc is highly desirable.
- The key responsibilities of this role may include:_
- Providing policy advice under the National Health Act 1953
- Engaging with stakeholders within the medicines industry
- Undertaking research and analysis of global policies aimed to reduce the impact and incidence of medicine shortages
- Drafting and developing policy review reports and discussion papers
- Providing input for briefs, minutes and submissions for the Executive Undertaking project management and governance support
- Proven experience in undertaking policy reviews, project management and policy governance
- Demonstrated research skills
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality written work in a range of formats for a variety of audiences.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment which is fast paced and dynamic.
- Well-developed verbal communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
