Within Western Australia, Sodexo is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-process infrastructure to clients within the mining and oil & gas sector. Sodexo plays a critical role in ensuring the resource sector can operate by providing quality catering, hospitality, and facilities maintenance services.
We are recruiting for a **Project Administrator** to join our ever-growing Projects team based out of our head office in Balcatta.
Providing essential support to our Project Leads, Project Supervisors and other associated departments, this role is integral to the continued growth within our projects division.
**Job Description**:
- Review, adapt, and implement the Sodexo Project Management Framework and associated processes to facilitate the successful delivery of projects by the Sodexo Projects team
- Implement processes to facilitate robust and accurate planning, estimating, and proactive management of project and program level costs and schedules
- In conjunction with our Commercial Team, develop and implement standardised Project Management reporting templates and processes, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders as required
- Develop and deliver training workshops on the use of the Project Management Framework and associated processes and systems
- Support the Senior Project Lead and Senior Program Manager with resource planning and scheduling, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources across the portfolio
- Contribute to an overall improvement in safety performance and showcase a zero-accident culture and mindset
- Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking to be able to review, dissect, and document complex processes into simpler and more manageable sections for the team to understand and follow
- Strong time management and organisation abilities to plan, execute and report on project progress and achieved milestones
- Leadership and teamwork abilities to inspire mutual collaboration and engage with stakeholders
- Previous experience designing and implementing process improvements
- Exceptional IT skills; specifically with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Project and SharePoint
