**About the role**

The ICT Contracts Manager will work closely with Directors and Executives to provide high quality Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management (SPVM) advice, suggestions, guidance, and services to the department.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with management of major contracts and products, including completion of necessary stakeholder consultation, to ensure outstanding issues are resolved
- Manage the performance of major vendors against contract management plans, contractual terms and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain a positive relationship with vendors and internal customers that leads to value for money for the customer and low risk service provision
- Maintain knowledge in the Queensland Government ICT contractual frameworks (QITC) and associated policies and procedures.

**Skills and experience**
- Proven experience with negotiating and managing contract life cycles, with an emphasis on technology or IT service agreements
- Experience in managing large complex contracts, particularly with tier 1 / tier 2 system integrators, in one or more IT categories, including hardware, software, service and communication.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with all key departments, and knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices and certifications (CIPS, ITIL and COBIT)
