**Your new company**
Hays Technology in Brisbane are currently working with a large council to join the Business Transition team to build and maintain strong and effective organisational change practices that support regular and ongoing delivery of program initiatives.
We are seeking we are seeking an experienced Change Manager for an initial 12-month contract working on an ERP Digital Program.
**Your new role**
In your new role you will be responsible for developing and delivering change strategies and plans appropriate for the scope of work associated with the allocated projects. Using a consultative approach to engage internal stakeholders and working collaboratively with the Project Manager and Business Process Owners you will take responsibility for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Clearly identifying all stakeholders and the impact of the solution on their respective area.
- Review of the type spread, and complexity of organisational change involved in the projects.
- Identification of the components of Change Management required for successful delivery of the projects.
- Strategic planning of the project/s followed by the execution of the deliverables.
- Identification of the Change Management risks, issues and the recommendations and delivery of mitigation strategies.
- Working with the Project Manager and the Business Process Owners and proxies to ensure strategies and activities are consistent with Council’s values.
- Development of key messaging and communications including facilitation of senior stakeholder approvals.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive successful change management experience in an ICT project management environment, preferably in a large scale and/or complex organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in organisational change management methodologies to successfully create a positive and sustainable approach to organisational change management
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and delivering strategies and plans to support human performance throughout change.
- Excellent consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and effectively build relationships and communicate to diverse stakeholder groups.
