The Role
As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint a**Payroll Manager, ANZ**to join our team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, Asia Pac, the primary focus of this role will be to produce the weekly and monthly payrolls in an accurate and timely fashion, along with managing and directing payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records across ANZ.

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Managing the processing and payment of weekly wages and monthly salaries and ensure all employee entitlements are recorded
- Ensuring tax compliance, obligations and state revenue office requirements
- Participating in internal and external audits as required
- Managing the integrity and confidentiality of the payroll system and process through monitoring and improving internal controls
- Undertaking analysis of salary information to assist in the evaluation of salary levels
- Calculating, managing and coordinating termination payments with relevant stakeholders
- Managing the administration of company and member superannuation contributions to a range of funds

**Your experience should ideally include**:

- Extensive experience as a Payroll Manager within a large, complex environment
- Qualifications in Finance or relevant business disciplines
- Experience leading a small team
- High level knowledge and proficiency in dual processing of wages/salaried employees
- Comprehensive experience in a range of payroll systems including electronic time and attendance
- Experience in payroll system conversions and implementations an advantage
