- Full time permanent role (4 days considered)

About You
With proven experience working in a service based organisation you will be confident across the end-to-end payroll cycle. You will demonstrate patience with a desire to create a quality customer experience and match this with your attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. Additional attributes we are looking for include:

- An understanding of Fair Work and Awards as they relate to payroll
- Experience using Payroll, finance and IT systems including Microsoft Office
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to approach problem situations creatively, to be resourceful and reflective and be responsive in a manner that delivers a quality customer experience
- A desire to learn and support the Finance team through cross functional collaboration and support

It is a requirement of this position to acquire and maintain a positive Working With Children’s Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a current & valid driver’s license.

About the Role
Reporting to the National Manager, Finance, this role looks after the end-to-end fortnightly payroll cycle and expense management for approximately 600 staff. Our staff work 24/7, 365 days per year and so this role navigates all of the intricacies of relevant Awards such as SCHADS to ensure staff are paid correctly and in a timely manner and in accordance with taxation law, Fair Work and other governing policies & legislation. Further to this the role will:

- Ensure all payroll, superannuation, leave accruals and work cover are appropriately journalled in the finance ledger
- Work closely with the People & Culture team to manage work cover payments
- Support the finance team with accounting activity as required (we work as a small team that supports each other)
- Respond to staff enquiries relating to their pay and expenses
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders as required

This position will balance working from home and our Head Office in Dandenong South. You will be expected to adhere to all COVID-19 standards, requirements, processes and regular hygiene and cleanliness practices.
