The nib Group has a mission and vision of people enjoying better health. Through our success, we aspire to more prosperous and sustainable communities, not only the creation of enterprise value.
We believe that extraordinary people do extraordinary things. Extraordinary comes in different perspectives and experiences. We’re looking for people who want to be a part of a team that has the appetite and ambition to be different. We’re committed to an environment where everyone has the autonomy and freedom to be their best selves, every day.
Your Impact
Reporting to the Head of Digital and Emerging Business Delivery, your new role as Product Manager - Digital Platform Services will see you responsible for a series of related services and experiences that support our business lines and customers. You will lead internal teams and guide them from a design, build and run perspective, ensuring clarity of purpose, desired outcomes and overall alignment to the organisation’s expectations and objectives.
In this role you will ensure the technological capability and user experience is in place to enable common services that many parts of our digital ecosystem can leverage. This includes growing out our group-wide identity platform in alignment to strategic objectives, security considerations and end user expectations.
In short, the digital platform services and experiences under your stewardship help other digital teams go faster and help our users to have a more consistent and engaging experience
Your Team
Most importantly, we love to work together, learn from each other, challenge ourselves to be our best, challenge the status quo and have a lot of fun along the way
Your Background
With a strong understanding of the product management discipline, including techniques that help to ensure effective return on investment, your experience in leading teams and concurrent streams of work will see you set up to succeed in this role. Furthermore, you will have:
- Experience in and appreciation of the challenges associated with deploying shared digital services and experiences for other teams to leverage (identity services in particular)
- Strong understanding of the solution development lifecycle including agile work practices
- Solid business and systems analysis experience
- Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate and work successfully in a team environment
- Excellent verbal, written and documentation skills including the ability to conduct large group workshops and present to all levels of the organisation
- Excellent organisational, customer service and relationship building skills
- Experience in leading and growing people
- Experience working with and managing vendors
**Benefits**:
The nib Group is a highly collaborative, purpose led and values driven organisation. To support you at work (and play), we offer some fantastic benefits including but not limited to:
- Employee health insurance discounts
- Employee share plans
- Volunteer leave
- Paid parental leave
- Gym discounts and fitness incentives
- Short-term incentive programs
- Educational assistance
- Flexible work options, including work from home
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Successful applicants will be required to complete a background check (including criminal history and bankruptcy check) prior to commencement of employment.
