As the Technical Product Manager, you’ll lead the evolution of this critical platform, applying a product mindset to technical delivery, enabling seamless integration across systems, and ensuring strong cyber and data controls are consistently applied.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex technical environments, enjoys solving integration challenges, and is passionate about building platforms that scale securely and reliably.

- Line-managing platform engineers, supporting their growth and performance.
- Driving adoption through developer enablement, documentation, and support.
- Reporting on platform metrics (Vulnerability management, MTTR, SLOs & control coverage).
- Coordinating across AU↔IN teams to align scope, dependencies, and delivery rhythms.
- Ensuring governance, compliance, and vendor alignment through metrics, pipelines, and reporting.
What you’ll bring
- A strong technical background in cloud platforms, API Gateways, distributed systems, and API/event-driven architectures.
- Experience applying product management principles to technical platforms.
- Comfort with security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST) and risk-based decision making.
- Hands-on familiarity with observability tools like Dynatrace and Elastic.
- Ability to frame problems clearly, define measurable outcomes, and drive prioritisation.
- Proven leadership in managing engineers, coaching, and building high-trust teams.
- Operational excellence in delivery, governance, and cross-region collaboration.
- A mindset focused on simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.
The good stuff …

- Flexible working arrangements with opportunities to work three days in the office, two days remote or home.
- Vibrant and collaborative office campus that includes cafes, convenience store, chill out zones, GP, post office, gym and on-site childcare centre.
- Competitive leave policies, including additional 'Connected’ days to focus on culture, family, health, community, or whatever’s important to you.

- Build meaningful connections through employee-led networks and diversity initiatives including Culture Connect, Elevate Women, Disability Network and Express Yourself (LGBTQIA+).
- Put your wellbeing first with free access to counselling and support services, 24/7 — in-person, by phone, SMS, or video.
- Free Optus bus from Macquarie University Metro Station (every 6-8 minutes); morning and afternoon.
