**The Role**:
Maxima, and the City of Burnside, are looking for a motivated individual to undertake a Community Services Traineeship within the Community Connections team.

The Community Connections Trainee is responsible for providing administrative, program, services and event support to the team.

Throughout this 12-month, fulltime opportunity you will gain hands-on experience, paid training and continuous mentoring towards gaining a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Community Services**.

**Duties Include**:

- Provide high quality customer service, in person and over the phone
- Provide administrative support and maintain appropriate documentation and records
- Assist with marketing, advertising and promotion of programs and events; including social media
- Assist with scheduling team meetings, including creating and distributing an agenda and minutes.
- Create purchase orders and receipt invoices
- Prepare volunteer induction packs, initiating training, and providing event support
- Assist the team to develop and deliver the school holidays program

**About You**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
- Great time management and organisation skills
- Ability to multitask to meet deadlines
- Friendly and approachable
- Thrives working with team environments and independently

**Role Requirements**:

- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Previous customer service experience (desirable)
- Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office
