Strategic and relationship focused Procurement Manager in Perth CBD.
**The Company**
Our client is an established but ever evolving Organization who are looking for a Procurement Manager who builds and fosters lasting relationships, is adaptable in finding solutions and a driver in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships across internal and external stakeholders.
A key deliverable for this role will be to design, implement and manage successful procurement and sourcing strategies whilst driving a strategic approach to supplier engagements. This will include the centralization and review of all existing supplier contracts whilst being the point of contact for new vendor engagements.
**The Role**
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain key supplier relationships and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and contractual terms are being met
- Create a centralised function for organising and coordinating new RFP processes including vendor assessment and selection
- Works with Project Managers to ensure that Project proposals and Business Case outcomes are managed and that financial benefits are realised
- Implement a centralised Procurement Strategy and contract register review to include business, economic, financial data, operations, spend forecast and revenue impact whilst mitigating risk
- Assesses, monitor, develop plans for procurement risk
- Ensure that regulatory obligations are met through the oversight and leadership of Procurement
- Working proactively with internal stakeholders to develop a road map of their spend requirements and support them in delivery of cost saving and/or benefit
- Conduct supplier analysis and optimise spend opportunities
- Establish a framework for new contract review to provide an effective basis for supplier performance management
- Run full end to end tendering activity to achieve company saving targets
- Monthly and quarterly reporting to Senior Leadership Team;
- Annual contract commitments reporting monitoring for renewals and termination clauses
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will be someone who has experience in stakeholder management, relationship management and partnering with different business units. You will see the importance in fostering strong and enduring relationships and be a natural negotiator. You will be proactive in your approach to find solutions and be adaptable to an evolving environment. Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management, supply chain management and logistics is important along with any qualifications that can support this. You will also be an exceptional communicator on all levels, possess excellent organisational skills and have a strong work ethic which will allow you to thrive working in this fast-paced environment.
