Procurement Manager role in Mining

**Your new organisation**

This well-known WA mining organisation has an opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join their team on a 6-month temporary basis with a chance at potentially securing the permanent role.

**Your new role**

In this role you will be responsible for all activities associated with the purchasing and supply of materials and services for all mining locations in Western Australia. You will also be responsible for 2 direct reports. Key activities will include:

- Strategy development and procurement planning
- Lead management of the contract portfolio
- Maintain and enhance supplier relationships
- Engage in key supplier negotiations
- Ensure all operating locations are supplied with goods and services as required

**What you’ll need to succeed**

In order to succeed you will need to have prior experience in a supervisory role and demonstrated experience in end-to-end contracts and procurement. Experience within the resources industry will be highly regarded however not essential.

- 1 day working from home per week
- $70 - $90 per hour + super depending on experience
- Flexible start and finish times
