**About the role**:
Due to the continued growth of our B2B customer base in the Education sector, we have an amazing business development opportunity for a motivated and sales focussed individual to join our WA sales team. The primary focus of this role is onboarding new business, securing orders and sales management of the orders on behalf of the client - our clients include State, Catholic and Independent schools. Day to day in this exciting and challenging role, you will focus on developing strong relationships with business clients in Education, and plan out your schedule to achieve your KPIs based on closing deals, along with activity such as calls and client-facing meetings.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Continued growth of our B2B customer base through new customer acquisitions focusing on business clients in the Education sector
- Building sustainable customer relationships in a short time frame based on clearly identifying your new customers’ needs and providing tailored solutions to meet these needs and,
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with Officeworks Business Specialists, our Customer Support Centre and our Retail Store network

**About you**:
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- A passion for Education, and everything that relates to teaching
- An ability to build rapport quickly and develop credible business relationships with Education providers
- Able to grasp new concepts readily, and adapt to different processes and changes
- Excellent time management, quick decision making and the ability to develop plans to achieve KPIs
- Sound business acumen with the ability to make commercially viable business decisions
- Able to conduct research, identify trends and share insights with the wider team
- Confidence to pick up the phone and make cold calls, while demonstrating resilience and adaptability
- Work collaboratively with peers and other stakeholders in the business
