This is a very interesting building company, in that they have 5 divisions with over 1000 staff. They have national operations and are growing rapidly throughout the country. Their Building division does commercial construction works up to around $10m and they are growing this division within WA. This presents a great opportunity to secure an important role to help the business realise its growth potential in Perth and in doing so allow for career development opportunities.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE TASKED WITH DOING**:
As a Site Manager, you will:

- Do programming and coordination of construction works
- Quality and provide a safe working place for the site
- Read and interpret construction plans for commercial construction or fit out projects
- Work with the program to meet deadlines
- Adhere to compliance and building codes
- Oversee and coordinate sub-contractors
- Work closely with the client, project manager and architect, etc.

**ARE YOU A FIT**:
In order to excel in this role, you will have existing experience as a Site Manager within Australia working on commercial construction projects. Ideally you will have experience in the Defence construction sector but this is not essential. You will be passionate, focused on quality, focused on safety and achieving milestones of the project while managing strong relationships with the sub-contractors and maintaining high level communication to stakeholders. You will be autonomous, someone who can problem solve and someone who can think outside the square. A Trade background in Carpentry or a related area will be beneficial and an ability to switch between hands on and supervisory tasks will be highly regarded.
