E&I QA/QC Supervisor

About the Project

We're partnering with a leading EPCM provider on a major iron ore project in Western Australia. The role is responsible for overseeing electrical and instrumentation (E&I) construction works, ensuring contractor compliance with quality, statutory, and contractual requirements across all site activities.

About the Role

The E&I QA/QC Supervisor will work with the Quality Manager, project team, and contractors to implement and maintain effective quality processes, inspections, and verifications for all E&I works on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contract specifications and contractor quality documentation to ensure technical and verification requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and review contractor quality submissions, inspection records, and certifications.
  • Undertake and document EPCM inspections and witness contractor tests in line with approved inspection and test plans.
  • Monitor contractor non-conformance, corrective actions, and technical queries, raising non-conformance notes as required.
  • Facilitate client or third-party verification and acceptance of construction data reports.
  • Participate in contractor quality meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
  • Ensure all E&I works comply with safety, environmental, statutory, and contractual obligations.
  • Support continuous improvement in supplier quality management and project quality practices.

Skills & Experience

  • Electrical Engineer or Electrical Trade qualified with current Electrical Licence.
  • Quality management/control or inspector certification.
  • Extensive E&I QA/QC experience within mining, energy, or resources projects.
  • Strong understanding of supplier inspection management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Roster / Location: 2:1 FIFO roster, site-based on a major iron ore project in Western Australia.

Salary: $100–$105/hr + 10% site allowance
