**About the role**

This position is responsible for providing self-managed cleansing services that ensures Parramatta’s public domain is maintained and improved to enhance the cleanliness and appearance of the city, and to promote Parramatta as Australia’s next great city

On a daily basis you will:

- Undertake planning and goal setting with the supervisor to ensure a program of works are completed effectively and meet the approved service standard.
- Undertake a variety of tasks required for the successful completion of the functions of the Cleansing Services team to ensure the long-term management, condition and usability of assets and facilities under the care of the team.
- Undertake inspections of the public domain and assets to ensure that Council’s exposure to liability is minimised.

**We currently have 2x permanent positions available**

**Hours: Monday to Friday-11:30am-8:00pm**

**About You**

**Qualifications**:

- Hold a current NSW ‘C’ Class Driver’s License (MR desirable)
- Possession of a current Traffic Control Ticket (TCR and IMP), or the ability and willingness to obtain prior to confirmation of employment.
- Possession of a construction industry certificate “White Card”
- Chemical Application Chem Use AQF3
- Asbestos Awareness

**Experience**:

- Relevant experience in a similar operational role.

**Skills**:

- The capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role.

We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $61,736.51 to $67,983.28 plus 11% Superannuation.
