We are currently searching for a competent Product Developer to join the Product Development team based in our beautiful new office in Alexandria. This role is permanent, full time.

With extensive experience in apparel product development, you are skilled and confident at fitting and garment construction, with a fashion design or technical qualification. You are proficient in Illustrator and excel, and have experience working across different apparel categories for a brand or retailer. You are enthusiastic and welcome feedback. **Responsibilities**:

- Create the technical development packs for new seasonal ranges, including the bill of material, specification sheets and construction guidelines.
- Brief the supplier on the new developments, problem solving any concerns and communicating clear timelines and costing expectations.
- Lead the fit development process from initial design concept, through sell in samples to preproduction samples ensuring the ranges are executed in line with the brand aesthetics, design vision, quality, lead time and cost requirements.
- Shipping sample approval where required.
- Lead the fit meetings, technically fitting the garments, updating and grading spec sheets and sending comments to factories and following up to ensure the best fit and product.
- Ensure all care labels are created for each product in line with Australian standards and are fit for purpose.
- Ensure all developments meet our traceability strategy, legal & safety requirements and are fit for purpose.
- Communicate product details to the creative and e-commerce teams.
- Report on supplier performance and hit rates at the end of each season and developing & implementing continuous improvement plans.
- Travel to suppliers as required.
- Contribute to the development of Circular strategy within Assembly Label.
- Contribute to a team culture which promotes transparency, openness, problem solving & continuous improvement.
