Reporting to our Head of Global Quality, you will ensure all garments produced for the brand satisfy agreed quality standards in terms of fit, construction, detailing, performance and workmanship. Process Management of QA process** - Carry out fit process in line with business requirement on both live model and mannequins - Upkeep status of styles on company PLM system on your specific tasks - Ensure all communication between Sydney and offshore offices is aligned in format and is accurate, clear and timely. - Work with Buying, Design, Merchandisers Garment technicians and Pattern Makers to achieve Critical Path deadlines. - Log quality issues and escalate appropriately **2. **Quality and Standards Management** - Restate the requirements for Garment Performance and construction - On-going Implementation of improvements to construction/performance. - Follow the Brands QA/QC Standards Manuals for Garments & Grading Standards Manual to ensure factories are grading in line with Retail Brands requirements. - Bench marking against international Brands with similar core values / Standards to APG & Co **3. Ensure Garment/Accessories standards are achieved** - Review Test reports and ensure all testings fall within the Company standards and assign care instructions - Be aware of changes in labelling standards in line with government regulations. - Work with Design & Technical Manager to improve garments while reducing costs. **4. Social Responsibility** - Be aware of new technologies and their effect on the environment **5. Store visits and reviews** - Attend stores regularly to see product and hear feedback first hand. - Establish effective methods of collecting customer/staff feedback at store level to enable improvements of the QA process. **6. Relationship Management** - Establish and maintain productive relationship with Brand Process, Buying, Design, Technical team, Vendors & Off Shore offices. - Work with Offshore offices and Direct Vendors to ensure understanding of required standards and align procedures for consistency. *** **KPI's** - ** **Seamless integration of all new partners with no compromise on quality - Number of faulty returns < 0.08% - Own and control the number of FIT/Quality issues (below 1%) - First fit hit rate 60% - Online customer review rating per Brand - Meet T/P deadlines and Production critical path dates *** **You** - Knowledge in both woven and cut & sew manufacturing production process and construction - 5+ years of experience in both woven & jersey garments in fit & construction - Experience in establishing QA standards for a Premium Brand - Experience in dealing with offshore offices / Supply Chain - Proven track record for delivery of KPI’s - Added advantage if you have any 3D knowledge - Personable, willingness to learn new technology and able to work in a team environment *** **Where do I sign?** As part of the APG family you'll enjoy plenty of exiting rewards and benefits. - 50% discount on all brands - Birthday leave - Flexible working - hybrid of work from home and in our beautiful offices - True work / life balance, including 4pm Friday finish - Culture Club - monthly social events, monthly morning tea and more - An Employee Assistance Program for you and your family - Paid Parental Leave - Recognition and Service awards - Employee Referral Program
