BEC + BRIDGE is on the lookout for a talented Garment Technician / Pattern maker to join our close-knit team in a part-time capacity. This role will sit at the intersection of technical precision and design flair, perfect for someone with an eye for detail and a love for bringing beautiful garments to life.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and who understands the ins and outs of both garment construction and pattern refinement. You’ll be working across multiple categories, supporting our Design & Production teams to ensure every piece meets the BB standard.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Measure samples and create specifications for all phases of the product life cycle that will be produced offshore
- Working closely with our product developers to complete all tech pack requirements
- Participation in fittings for development and bulk stages for offshore product whilst documenting accurate notes on all alterations discussed
- Problem solving within the technical team
- Liaising and assisting our pattern makers to perform pattern alterations using stylecad, as required.
- Create patterns when required
- Process all technical communication and submitting SMS - PPS tech packs to our offshore suppliers
- Concise and timely communication with our offshore suppliers
- Manage our pattern library and ensure all Bec and Bridge intellectual property is filed in our stylecad system accordingly
- Adhere to the company’s critical path by following key milestones within the development and production functions
- Working closely with our design team / production team to ensure design integrity and Bec and Bridge handwriting is carried through to bulk
- Produce pattern markers for our local sampling team when required
- Performing quality control checks and measure shipping samples

**What we’re looking for**:

- A proven background as a Garment Technician and Pattern Making (5 years of experience)
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrications, and fit
- Proficiency in StyleCAD is essential
- A calm, solutions-focused communicator with great attention to detail
- Someone who brings passion and a collaborative spirit to the team

This is a part-time role (3-4 days per week) based at our Waterloo head office, ideal for someone seeking flexibility while still immersed in the heartbeat of Australian fashion.
