- Customer facing role, help to shape MDM and data principles

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with a comprehensive knowledge of the Data, Analytics and Information Management domain. The role will focus on driving architectural reviews, MDM, data modelling principles and information management standards across Cloud Data Warehouse projects. These projects cover a range of different technologies, such as Azure, Snowflake and GCP. Ensure that all projects are kept on track, delivered effectively, whilst ensuring excellence in information management, MDM and data governance standards.

**The role**:

- Engage with customers and business stakeholders to elicit business requirements for Cloud Data Warehouse & Data Visualisation projects.
- Effectively translate business requirements to a team of highly skilled Data Engineers & Business Intelligence Consultants.
- Design, develop and implement effective data models for projects.
- Oversee the technical delivery if Cloud Data Warehouse & Data Visualisation projects for customers, whilst ensuring that technical delivery remains aligned to business outcomes.
- Drive and deliver Information Management principles such as Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality initiatives for customers.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, to agreed technical standards and outcomes, by effective use of communication and negotiation.
- Maintain proactive and consistent written and verbal communication with all parties.
- Effective and consistent documentation across all initiatives.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Strong, commercial experience working as a Business Analyst, Consultant or advisory in Cloud Data Warehouse / Analytics projects.
- Highly skilled in eliciting business requirements and translating to technical teams.
- Ability to actively engage with customers and stakeholders to Senior level.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
- Previous experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
- Strong data modelling capabilities.
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts.
- Understanding of Cloud Data platforms such as Azure, Snowflake, GCP etc.
- Ability to write SQL to query data sets as needed.
- Proven ability to manage simultaneous projects through effective use of scheduling and time management.

This is an immediate contract opportunity with attractive day rate in a company that run full integrated Cloud data solutions.
