Lead Technical Business Analystt

**The role**

We are looking for an experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst to join our award-winning team. Bringing a passion for what you do, you are a technical leader and a people manager. You are responsible for driving 'what good looks like' when it comes to being a Technical BA at FrankieOne and are accountable for quality coming from the Tech BA Chapter. You will manage our Tech BAs, supporting their personal development and career journeys. You will also be hands-on in defining Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and stories within a product team.

- **Passion for the customer. **You relate to our customers, facilitating sessions to understand their issues. Leading discovery, scoping and refinements sessions, you determine business requirements and then translate such into specifications for technical stories and features.
- **Collaborate.** You work with internal delivery teams to prioritise work and engage engineers to ensure your assumptions are right and timelines are realistic. At times, you collaborate across squads.
- **Technical Lens.** You understand the technical aspects of new products and feature updates, challenging assumptions and ensuring scope is managed. You also understand the technical impact features will have on customers and assist in change management activities.

**Previous experience**:

- 5+ years of experience in business / technical analysis and design, ideally within financial services and or a SaaS environment
- Mentorship / management of other technical BAs
- Worked in a fast-paced environment within cross-functional teams, balancing priorities with getting things done
- Built a passion for solving complex problems using simple solutions that are well-thought-out and resilient
- Experience with agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with solutioning REST interfaces along with implementing complex integrations
- Supported end-to-end delivery of features from analysis to production
- Proven experience across both internal and external business and technical stakeholders
- Built strong knowledge of software development processes, procedures, limitations, and challenges
- Honed your analytical skills and are able to translate complex problems into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and stories that make sense
- Exposure to complementary skills in development or QA
