**About the role and where you will be working**:
This role provides high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for the administration and management of accounts receivable to ensure timely payments by debtors.

This position is located in our central office in Rivervale with the option to work from home 1 or 2 days per week.

**We will be asking you to be**:

- Responsible for accurate residents’ billing as stipulated by the government department and/or in contract agreement.
- Responsible for billings of social housing tenants
- Timely mailing of residents’/tenants’ tax invoices/statements as required
- Reconciliation of residents’/tenants’ accounts and residents’/tenants’ recharges GL account
- Daily banking activities and bank statement receipting and reconciliation
- Prepare non-residents invoices requested by internal and external clients
- Process credit cards payment receipting
- Setting up and process direct debit payment promptly
- Monitor residents ageing and follow up collections with respective facility managers
- Reconciliation of ageing report and trial balance of debtors account
- Assist in claims process for Home Care on Services Australia portal and reconciliation of funds received to Home Care Packages.
- Answer phone calls and accept payment over phone by using NAB Transact

**About you**:
Previous experience in a similar role strongly preferred.

**To be considered for this role you'll need**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role in a large and complex service delivery organisation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Demonstrated knowledge of and understanding of relevant practices and principals of debtor management
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise responsibilities and multi
- task
- Minimum of intermediate competency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
- Prior experience with reconciliation
