A rare opportunity to join the Majors Collection Team as a Collection Officer on a permanent basis has become available. This specialised role is based in the WA support office and provides a great platform for you to contribute to the growth of our business.

About the role

This role will see you managing some of the largest customers that Bunnings extends credit to in Western Australia. It involves utilising the tools and information available to reconcile accounts, accurately allocate funds, resolve invoice disputes, and provide phone support to internal and external stakeholders. It also involves adhering to all applicable laws including Credit, Trade Practices, and Privacy as set out by the ACCC.

Full training will be provided for you to ensure you’re able to succeed in the role.

What’s involved
- Maintain the required monthly KPI’s for 60+ overdue, unapplied cash & credits, and DSO
- Collections including regular timed customer follow up and reconciliations of accounts
- Provide phone support to internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve customer disputed invoices
- Work alongside the Applications team, and Commercial / Trade Teams to support business growth
- Tailor a collection procedure depending on the needs of the specific customer
- Monitor the security and any fraudulent activity within customer accounts.
