**About the role at Turo**

We are looking for a Claims Associate to join us as part of our small but growing team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new office in Sydney and take part in a high energy work environment for a rapidly growing company with global ambitions. - Liaise closely with internal and external claims partners and vendors to resolve claims in the most effective manner.
- Work closely with our US claims team and our mutual.
- Must be data driven and have strategic focus for building and growing the claims function for Turo Australia
- Identify and drive ongoing improvements to our policies and procedures, developing action plans and improvements to improve outcomes.
- Foster high quality claims handling processes to deliver an excellent claims experience to our customers ensuring regular communication and timelines updates are given
- Collaborate with your peers, supervisors and our claims handling partner to continue to improve results
- Handle claims escalations and manage relationships with vendors and insurers
- Complete weekly aged pending reports and reviews

**Seniority**

**Junior** - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically 1-2 years of experience is required.

- Complaints Resolution - Log, investigate, and resolve customer dissatisfaction or problems, to improve negative customer experiences
