**A day in the life**:
- Provide operational leadership to a talented team of Claims and Senior Claims Consultants
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that reflects ClearView Values, while efficiently allocating and monitoring workflow, portfolio management, and executing all ClearView claims operating rituals
- Execute ClearView claims operating rituals, through effective allocation and monitoring of workflow
- Provide support in complex claims, alongside technical consultants, claims liability determinations and claims strategy sign off above delegation limits, where required
- Escalate and resolve complaints, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Maintain a robust risk culture by adhering to all risk controls and processes Deliver Claims operational and business plans including execution of process and customer experience change
**Now, let's talk about you. To set you up for success in the role, you will have**:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Retail Claims
- Tertiary qualifications and/or a background in Allied Health (Psychology, Occupational Therapy, etc.), Nursing, Law, or Accounting
- Proven track record in management, leadership, and performance of claims and/or operational teams within the Life Insurance industry
- Certification IV in Life Insurance or equivalent (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of claims handling practices and the Life Insurance Code of Practice, along with associated assessment and operational requirements.
**To thrive in this role, you will need**:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing strategies that enhance customer and claims management outcomes
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in coaching and mentoring Proficiency in managing and executing end-to-end process changes
