This established and purpose driven support agency works closely with children, families and individuals to ensure that they thrive in their community. This multi-dimensional community NFP provides a range of specialist family oriented educational and welfare programs and services including:
- Early Childhood Education & Care
- Family Day Care
- Kindergarten
- Child Care
- Children’s Therapy
- parent & Childhood Support
- Training (RTO) and
- An independent specialist primary school
As one of two newly scoped out positions, this advisor role will be ideal for an impassioned and driven Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) professional. This role will work closely as part of a newly structured HSW team and will support the organisation's people leaders as they focus on building a best practice HSW framework:
- HWS Management Systems - design and implement - Donesafe.
- HSW Audit, Reporting and Analytics - Chris 21/iChris
- HSW Education & Training
Embedding a robust and highly valued HSW culture will be a key part of this team's remit to ensure that responsibility for safe workplace practice is shared, embraced and owned by all. Visibility and engagement will be key and as such will demand exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills as well as strong technical knowledge of the OHS Act and regulations. Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience is required. Willingness and ability to regularly travel to different sites across their network (SE, Inner West and SW metro areas) will be necessary from time-to-time and will suit a HSW practitioner who understands the value of building the HSW reputation and profile across the organisation. There are several flexible working options including Full Time and Part Time. This organisation also offers a hybrid working model. Salary in commensurate with experience, with salary packaging.
