- This is essentially a start-up backed by an established National Advisory firm and presents a unique opportunity to set the Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy

**The Role**
Your primary role will be to set the Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategy and develop a WHS Framework. In addition your responsibilities will include:

- Develop and review WHS policies and procedures
- Stay current with WHS legislation and regulatory changes and ensure compliance
- Provide advice, expertise and guidance to HR and senior leaders on WHS issues
- Provide advice and provide guidance on Workers Compensation and RTW
- Actively develop and promote an employee Wellbeing strategy
- Work with various stakeholders collaboratively and be open to change and new ideas

**What we are looking for**
- 5+ years internal WHS management experience - preferably with experience within a corporate and/or professional services firm.
- Senior level experience in providing WHS advice including strong knowledge of contemporary WHS practices combined with a deep working knowledge of WHS legislation.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus).
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- A strategic analytical thinker who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the work
