**About the role**:
Reporting to the Research Governance Officer the Project Officer is accountable for ensuring the efficient and effective review of research and quality improvement projects submitted to the Research Hub within a framework of ethical, legal and regulatory and corporate governance.

Duties for the role will include:

- Undertaking data extraction and analysis which will contribute content for reports to SA Health, SALHN's Board of Directors and other external stakeholders
- Processing research contracts
- Preparing agendas and minutes to ethics and governance meetings
- Providing oversight of the Research Hub Research Management Database

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in showing attention to detail and accurate reporting of information
- Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with the ability to plan, co-ordinate, document and carry out tasks through to completion
- Proven understanding of research ethics and governance processes
- Experience in research or ethics roles in a healthcare setting that demonstrates a sound knowledge of research requirements in Australia
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
