**About the Role**

As the **Educational Leader at The Fern Hampton Park**, you will take a central role in shaping and elevating our curriculum and teaching practices. You’ll mentor and guide a team of dedicated educators, inspire innovation, and ensure children’s learning is enriched, meaningful, and aligned with the **Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)** and **National Quality Standards (NQS)**.

You’ll have dedicated time each week to lead, plan, and collaborate—with full support from our Centre Director and leadership team.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Design and implement innovative and inclusive educational programs for children aged 0-6.
- Inspire, guide, and mentor educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through reflective practice and coaching.
- Lead curriculum planning sessions and support educators in documentation and assessment.
- Drive the Centre’s **Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)** with a hands-on, strategic approach.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families, children, and the community.
- Collaborate across the i9 network of Educational Leaders to share best practices and fresh ideas.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Diploma** or **Bachelor's Degree** in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
- Minimum **2 years’ experience** in a Room Leader or similar leadership role.
- Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and child development principles.
- Experience with digital platforms like **KindyHub** is a bonus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.
- Passionate, professional, and ready to lead by example.
