Childcare Room Leader (Hampton Park VIC)

Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd is an unprecedented education group aiming to deliver Australian children a unique early childhood education by blending both Finnish and Australian early childhood education concepts together. Our curriculum is based on the Finnish education concept of holistic learning and play.

ILO Hampton Park Early Education Centre is one of the centres under this family and is looking for talented and motivated Room Leaders to join our service located in Hampton Park VIC. These roles are immediate positions with a strong induction program about our Finnish Teaching Program.

ABOUT YOU:

- Having Diploma of early childhood education and care or equivalent
- Having working experience within the early childhood sector
- Holding core values of building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships with children, families and colleagues
- Having a mindset of respect and appreciation of a strong team culture of working together
- Having an open mind and belief to embrace new early childhood education concept for better future of children
- Having Approved First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certification
- Having current work with children check
- Valid national police check (for being Responsible Person)

KEY DUTIES:

- Participate in the planning of curriculum and education programs to cater for the learning of the children
- Support the implementation of curriculum and education programs
- Provide guidance to and establish teamwork with other educators
- Make sure the children room is clean and safe for children and educators
- Utilize education Apps to provide feedback to parents regarding the learning of their children in our centre

Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd is a child-safe organisation and is committed to ensuring the wellbeing of children and protecting them from harm. All child facing roles will require successful completion of Working With Children Check. We have zero tolerance to child abuse and abides by Child Safety Standards in our practices.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
