Looking for a role where you'll be appreciated, supported and inspired every day?  Work in an environment that fosters creativity and professional growth?  We are seeking a passionate Educator that is willing to share their knowledge and become a valued part of our wonderful team.  This is a Monday to Friday position, where you will have the chance to float within a team while playing a vital role in the development of all age groups whilst working alongside a passionate and supportive team.

We are a family-owned and operated early learning service with over 16 years of trusted care and education in the Bayside community. Our centre offers a warm, nurturing environment and a dedicated team of educators who work together to provide exceptional early childhood education.

Our number one priority is the safety, health and wellbeing of children in our care. We champion and model a child safe culture at all levels in our service. We will not tolerate harm or the risk of harm to children or young people. We will not tolerate bullying or harassment. We act on any concerns about child safety and encourage a culture of reporting harm and risk of harm.

We are creating an above ratio environment to support our Educators to study, train and up-skill in their role. We can offer above Award wages as we are currently receiving the Worker Retention Grant ensuring you feel valued and motivated from day one. Additionally, we provide a dynamic work environment that fosters creativity and professional growth.

About You:

You'll bring a positive, professional attitude and a love for early education. Your key strengths will include:

  • Being self-motivated, enthusiastic and creative
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills
  • The ability to engage children through activities tailored to different age groups and developmental stages
  • Provide support and leadership while working as a member of a collaborative service team
  • Being confident in providing learning stories across all ages as support to room leaders and input to each room's curriculum
  • Assist in providing a high quality developmentally appropriate educational program based upon the practices and principles of both the National and Victorian Early Years Learning Frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with the National Law, the National Regulations and the National Quality Standard
  • Have knowledge and understanding of the 11 Child Safe Standards.

What You'll Need:

  • Certificate 3 or working towards your certificate(This role is not suited to a Graduate Diploma holder)
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid certificates or willingness to obtain
  • Mandatory reporting and child protection training
