**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a professional and experienced Administration Assistant to join their fleet team in Fairfield. This is an estimated 7-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.

Working within the Fleet Division, you will be required to provide a wide range of administrative, business and executive support services to the Workshop and Fleet Manager and the mechanics team to achieve organisational goals

**Responsibilities**
- Act as first point of contact, delivering professional customer service
- Schedule and booking in services/transport.
- Prepare high level documentation including briefs, meeting minutes, agenda’s and presentation material
- Generate routine statistical reports on business operations and performance
- Manage, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Contribute to development and implementation of innovative improvement strategies to mitigate risk
- Ensure compliance with Departmental policies and procedures

**About you**
- Demonstrated Administration, Business or Executive Support experience
- Previous experience working within a fleet, vehicle or maintenance workshop
- NSW Public Sectors experience - _highly advantageous_
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Not afraid to address any issues and come up with reasonable solutions
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MS office Suite

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Excel - sound understanding of reporting and formulas.
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
