**THE POSITION**:
The position provides clerical and administrative support within the Major Events unit to facilitate the delivery of Council’s major events and business objectives.

**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Skills and experience in administration with the ability to provide responsive administrative support across the unit.
- Organisation, exceptional project and time management skills combined with the ability to work unsupervised, handling competing priorities to adapt to fluctuating workloads and changing priorities
- Skills and experience working within a customer service environment with the ability to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction combined with the ability to respond appropriately to customer requests and meet customer service requirements
- Interpersonal and communication skills including oral, written and verbal skills, for exchange of information with a diverse range of internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of Council operations and relevant policy and procedures
- Skills and experience in a relevant field

**DESIRABLE**:

- Skills and experience in an events environment
- Skills and experience in website administration

**SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS**:

- Casual position up to 35 hours per week
- This position is a Grade 3 with a commencing base rate of $36.37 per hour, with progression to $40.14 on demonstrated competencies, with performance progression to $42.60 per hour, plus Casual loading and Superannuation
- Flexible working hours are available
