**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Origin is leading the transition to net zero through clean energy and customer solutions. Gas forms an essential part of the energy mix during the transition and Origin, via the Integrated Gas Business Unit, is continuing to invest in gas exploration and production throughout Australia.**

**The GIS Operator is a key member of the Data & Content Team. You will use your GIS skills to carry out various mapping, analytical, reporting, and spatial data maintenance tasks to support a range of different groups across Integrated Gas.**

**More about the role**
- Support various groups across Integrated Gas by undertaking GIS activities including:

- Generation of standard and custom mapping products
- Spatial data analytics and reporting
- Data entry & quality control
- Data sourcing and documentation
- Identify GIS process improvements with the goal of improving team operation / performance.
- Communicate and collaborate proactively with both the GIS team and stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered upon
- Engage successfully in multiple activities simultaneously

**ABOUT YOU**

**More about you**
- Experience with Queensland state government spatial datasets and Federal and Queensland environmental spatial datasets (desirable)
- Attention to detail and strong spatial analytical capability
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good relationships with business stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation ability
