We currently have a vacancy in our Human Resources Department for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator. This role is responsible to provide generalist HR support across all areas of the employment life cycle. In addition, you will assist in the management of workers compensation claims and provide support and advice to our store teams regarding return to work plans.
It is a 5 days onsite role located in our Support Office at Summer Hill (NSW), walking distance from all public transport.
Your role and responsibilities will consist but are not limited to:
- Ensure that offer paperwork for all Team Members and pre-employment checks are conducted accurately.
- Provide support and entry level advice to managers and team members on employee relations and recruitment and selection.
- Provide guidance and support on Enterprise Agreement interpretations.
- Ensure all Parental Leave is up to date and Team Members are contacted regarding return dates.
- Manage assigned workers compensation claims from start to finish.
- Consulting with injured workers and relevant stakeholders involved in the rehabilitation and return to work process.
- Prepare return to work plans based on restrictions and team member’s capacity.
- Liaise with treating practitioner, insurer and team member to ensure all are complying with return to work plan.
- Complete weekly leave forms, monthly reconciliation’s of claims and monthly workers comp reports.
**Key competencies to succeed in the role include**:
- Formal HR qualification; degree or certificate
- Certified Return to Work Certificate
- 2 - 3 years HR experience
- 1 - 2 years Return to work experience
- Strong written/verbal communication skills are essential.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Current and maintain working rights in Australia.
