**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity to further develop your career within the Fashion industry. The Marais Fashion Buyer travels to fashion capitals to source the best brands and forecast fashion trends.

**Position Description and Responsibilities**
- Analyse and forecast trend in accordance to the Fashion Industry
- Analyse consumer behaviour and curate collection based on best selling opportunities and fashion trend
- Review sales reports and sell throughs against the target to maximise profit
- Prepare and execute brand and product training manuals
- Assist with stock flow and report discrepancies
- Work with marketing and visual merchandiser to build commercial push
- Cultivate, develop and maintain working partnerships with international and local brands
- Perform well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Assists with order confirmation and delivery arrangement to suit launches
- Obtain feedback from customer through floor team
- Attend showrooms and complete purchase order

**Requirements**:

- Experience as Fashion Buyer with a minimum of 3 years experience in the industry
- Understand fashion trends and colours
- Bachelor degree/diploma in one of the following fields would be advantageous: Fashion Textiles and Merchandising, Fashion Merchandise Management
- Competitor awareness
- Strong trend and budget analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Formula experienced Microsoft Excel
- Positive energy with a can-do attitude and an ability to respond in a changing environment
- Ability to travel internationally

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
